5 Archival inkjet prints on diabond

60 x 73 cm each

2015

These books were originally found on discounted shelves at a local bookshop, some had images depicting the human form partially concealed by paper stickers. This could be to avoid showing the naked human body in a public space of the particular country. These modifications altered the original meaning of the images, providing a new and abstract experience for the viewer.

In this series of works, photography was used to minimize further interaction with these found objects and to document this experience.
